Hebrews 7:23-28

Mark 12:28b-24

Bl. Charles de Foucauld
CCC 172-175 "We guard with care the faith that we have received from the Church, for without ceasing, under the action of God's Spirit, this deposit of great price, as if in an excellent vessel, is constantly being renewed and causes the very vessel that contains it to be renewed." St. Irenaeus (CCC 175)

Yet I claim to love and want to serve God. But loving God and loving annoying people (okay, okay, all people) are intimately tied together.
Otherwise, your growth in your spiritual life is stunted, and keeps you distracted by this world and all the irritations of it. You are kept bound by fears and anxieties instead of bound by love.
